Latin name : Cerastium fontanum

A member of the Campion family (Caryophyllaceae)

A pretty little white flower with five divided petals, and five green sepals. There are a few similar species but this is probably the most common, and can be seen in many Seaford town spaces. Look close and you will see the sepals are hairy with thin silvery margins
