Friends of the old Brickfield picnic 2024

(1) WHEN IS THE EVENT ON?:

Saturday 27 July 2024, 11 am – 2 pm

(2) WHERE TO FIND US: – Between Kimberley Road and Buckle Drive, Seaford

(3) PARKING: Free parking on the seafront up to Claremont Road or Buckle Car Park (also free)

(4) CASH ONLY EVENT:

Whilst many of our activities are free, if you would like to have a go in our ‘Lucky Dip’ (50p) or purchase a ‘Lavender bag’ (£1) please do bring CASH/LOOSE CHANGE with you.

Internet connection is poor in the Brickfield Dip – currently preventing us from having the means to take electronic payments.

(5) WHAT’S ON?:

FREE ACTIVITES: All undercover, so can take place ‘whatever the weather’ …

 Bug Hunt – with our very own bug expert

 Willow Weaving – create your own dragonfly to take home with you

 Stone Painting

 Butterfly cut out painting

 Decorate your own ‘bug cake’ to take home with you

 Have a go at our traditional Skittles game

(6) OTHER ACTIVITES:

 Lucky Dip – 50p a go. Chance to win one of our ‘Brickfield Buddies’ or a toy

 Lavender Bags – Organically grown and hand made next to the Brickfield site – available to purchase for £1

(7) REFRESHMENTS:

FREE – we will have a selection of cakes, squash drinks and water on the day – but please do feel free to bring a picnic along with you – we will have a dedicated picnic area (covered if the weather is not good)

( FACILITES:

There are no toilet facilities at the Brickfield. The nearest Public Toilets are at the Buckle Car Park – But please do ask one of our members on the day if your need is urgent …….
