Common name : Common stork’s-bill

Latin name : Erodium cicutarium

A member of the Geranium family (Geraniumaceae)

A tiny pink or white flower that can be spotted at Seaford head, at the hotel footings above Splash point, the Martello fields and in some verges – e.g. Chyngton way.

Note the leaves which are pinnately cut into, almost to the leaf rib.

There are a number of similar species, and some cultivated varieties – so we recommend you use a good wildflower key book or website to confirm identification
