Hedgehogs are now a nightly presence in my garden!
After intermittent hibernation in January and February, I’ve spotted regular activity since the beginning of March despite the weather remaining chilly. Wonderful to see them again!
One of the garden’s hedgehog houses has a resident who appears about an hour after sunset for breakfast – chicken-rich kitten dry food (with a bowl of water nearby) seems to go down well. At least two hedgehogs have the garden as a venue on their nightly circuit.
